LOL that's what I figured. I can usually get under 1 min with my M6 at the Glen in GTR2. I will see what I can get the AI to do.

Bradd,
I found a 1967 version of Watkins Glen.
It is part of a rFactor F1 1967 Mod. What's even better, the mod includes all of the tracks that were venues that year.
This version has wide sweeping turns and fast. The car cockpits in this mod look great.
I ran a practice race on it with the AI. Result image below.
I will see if I can Upload the F1 1967 mod to our downloads page tomorrow.

Upon Further review, I don't think the mod I downloaded was the same one you found. I don't see any tracks with this one that I have.

Awesome, thanks!. I know I have the 67 version of Watkins Glen somewhere. My problem is that I have 3 different racing games (Rfactor, GTR2, and GTL) on 3 different systems. LOL I am pretty sure that I only have 67 Watkins Glen in GTR2 now that I think about it.

Yes, the 67 track layout is shorter with fewer low speed technical turns than the new layout so times are going to be faster on that track. It does bear mentioning though that these F1 cars are pretty light and nimble so they should give the bigger, albeit more powerful Can Am cars a run for their money.
Do yourself a favor and try the Lotus and the Brabham. They were the class of the field and if modelled accurately should be significantly faster than the BRM.
