Wondering if this upcoming release will be worth checking out? I am hoping that there is a demo available.

I knew that I had heard of Slitherine before. I just couldn't remember where. I have Starhammer. It's not bad, but not really the type of sim I was hoping for. I guess what I really would like is a new version of Starshatter, but I don't see that happening any time soon if ever.

Ships Ahoy !
Long Live Starshatter !
You Guys have probably seen the online games
World of Worships and Dreadnaught by now .
Those two games would seem to be of interest .
But then again there's also that new game
Star Citizen that also might be fun to play .
Nevertheless when I get into a game,
I like to wring every ounce of fun that I can
get out of that game .
Happy for me, I have Years of replay able
fun yet to be had from Starshatter TGS .
However, isn't it about time that someone rolls out
that long awaited super sequel to Starshatter that
they have been keeping on the back shelf ?
In my opinion, one drawback in the STGS Dynamic Campaign
is the Unexpected Appearance of the Aliens, showing up to collect
their missing artifact .
It is a fun and interesting surprise of course, but it does
seem to take some of the fighting away from the campaign .
I can imagine how the campaign might have played without
the aliens showing up and I think it would have been pretty big fun .
But I suppose wdboyd, braddw25, Thaddeus Tween, & the other
high rolling Starshatter Modders have already produced these kinds
of Mods already, and they are just too modest to show
them off .
He He He !
Glorious Days unto All Of Thee Starshatter'ers !

Salutations fps,
It is good to hear from you. I trust all is well with you.
I haven't been doing any new work on Starshatter. I have supported and keep close eyes on the Star Citizen developments.
I have also started to get into a WWII fighter simulation - IL2.
Bradd and I have begun racing with rFactor and Grand Prix Legends.
So... we have several oars in the water (so to speak) at the same time right now.
That's alright, we can multitask. |

One minor correction. It's GT legends that we're playing not Grand Prix Legends. Although I have heard that Grand Prix Legends is open source now.
