From what I have been seeing and reading the biggest problems being experienced in 2.3.1 PTU is dropped frame rates on the server and mass pirate spawns being encountered at arrays based upon the number of players at the array. Up to 14-15 pirates spawning at once and they are aggressive. Couple their numbers and the lagging frame rates and one has a frustrating experience.
Of note, the latest Bugsmasher program shed light on and fixed a probable related bug. Apparently items from destroyed craft were not being deleted and were remaining in the PU and accumulating.... causing a lot of the server slowdowns and FPS gradual decreases.
Bradd... of interest, there are some players reporting taking fire from invisible foes. Didn't we experience that last Sunday? But that was in 2.3.0 Live.
CIG is working on it and other things. They apparently have very complex situations/problems to work out.
