Alpha Patch 2.3.0d has been released to the PTU, and is now available for players to test!
During this initial testing phase, PTU access will be restricted to a small group of players that we will expand on over time as required.
Your launcher should should show “2.3.0 – 336431” as the client version. It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Test client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Cloud Imperium Games\StarCitizen\Test.
Please review our current list of 2.3.0 PTU Known Issues FAQ, and take full advantage of our Issue Council area of the Community site to report any bugs you encounter, as well as contribute to other players submissions.
Important Callouts:
PTU players in this initial test will have access to the Khartu-al in AC and Crusader, and the Starfarer (if you have the Revel & York hangar on your account).
Players on the PTU who both have the Revel & York Hangar and do not have the Starfarer will find themselves directed into the Revel & York Hangar.
Regardless of hangar selected on the website.
The Holotable is not currently allowing players to save loadouts, or for those loadouts to carry over into Arena Commander.
Stalker S5 missiles only have a range of 30m.
Updates and Fixes:
Star Systems:
Fixed an issue where repair drones were not restocking weapon ammo and missiles.
Fixed an issue were some enemy AI would not engage pilots at certain distances.
Revenge of the Fix – Fixed an issue where a mass numbers of pirates would spawn at the same time in Yela.
Game Systems:
Fixed an issue where the players camera was situated inside of their seat while the user waits for Arena Commander match to start.
Fixed an issue where the characters helmet would not stay aligned with the head, and would interfere with flying.
Fixed an issue where some objects in Horizon Speedway were not showing properly.
Ships:
Made some tweaks to thruster visual effects.
Fixed an issue where player could become stuck after jumping into the cockpit dashboard of the Starfarer.
Khartu-al:
Fixed an issue where the Khartu-al was missing audio when destroyed.
Fixed an issue where the control sphere animations on the Khartu-al were reversed.
Made additional tweaks to the Khartu-al pilot seat when spawning into Arena Commander.
Made some additional tuning to how the Khartu-al handles in flight.
Made additional tweaks to the Khartu-al boost and cruise speed.
Added passby sounds to the Khartu-al.
Fixed an issue where the Khartu-al thrusters were not visibly firing when the Scout was boosting.
First Person:
Made a number of recoil tweaks for the Devestator-12 Shotgun.
Fine-tuned the Arrowhead aim-down-sights shots.
Doubled the lifetime of Arrowhead projectiles to push max range out to 1km.
