WOW is all I can say after watching Star Wars episode 7 today. For Star Wars fans who are worried about Disney messing up our beloved franchise, all I can say is put your fears to rest. This was in my opinion the greatest Star Wars movie yet. And that is saying A lot coming from someone who loved the originals as much as I did. I almost felt the same way I felt as a 9 year old watching the first movie back in the 70s. It was literally that exciting. And I was skeptical going in. It took exactly 30 seconds for me be taken in by two of the new characters. Daisy Ridley in particular did a masterful job of acting in this one. My wife is not even a Star Wars fan and she was on the edge of her seat. Just when I thought good cinema was dead in this day and age, Mr. JJ Abrams hit a grand slam homerun!!! Definitely worth seeing. In fact I may just do so again TOMORROW!!!
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you, and be sure of this, I will be with you always even unto the end of the age. Mathew 28:20

Sounds like Disney and Abrams did a great job. Now I will have to go see it in the theatre. |

I do not believe you will be disappointed.

This flick certainly did not disappoint. Other than a few little nit-picks here and there, I think Abrams did a great job.
In fact I plan on seeing it in 3D IMAX the next time around. Those who saw it in that format said it was spectacular!
Now if they would only come out with an updated Star Wars space combat sim (like the ones back in the XvT/XWA days). |

Me and my brother, Both StarWars fans since early childhood, vent to the cinema to see the new SW film with bunch of people who never saw SW before. Namely My Brothers Wife, her brother, and one other couple.
Everyone liked the film except me and my brother. There is only one worse SW film than 7, and that is ep1 with that flyppy eared abomination.
Keep your heart open, and your gun loaded.

We older veiwers tend to relate better to the initial three SW films.
I think the new films are trying to appeal to a new generation of people while trying to keep the basic spirit of the older films.
Regardless... may the force be with us all. The light side of course.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son Of God.
