I am seriously considering buying one of these beauties. I am a firm believer in liquid cooling as I have now had two different PCs that had their CPU liquid cooled and it is so far superior to air cooling that words can't do it justice. You can pretty much forget about worrying about cpu temps ever again no matter how hard you push or overclock it. I would enjoy having this same capability with my gpu. The great part is that I already have an extra corsair hydro cooler that I purchased and then never installed on anything so all I will need is this adapter bracket to make it work with my video card. As stated before, I am anal almost to the point of neurosis about keeping things cool in my PX case. I will have to post a pic sometime of the 9 120mm fans and single 140mm fan that are currently pushing air through my current gaming rig. Overkill for certain, but that is what I'm all about when it comes to keeping expensive components cool. Fans are cheap, high end circuit components are not.

Cooler is always better.
I'm curious as to why GPUs do not just come with liquid cooling? Probably just more expense. |

I think expense and the added problem of fitment with many available cases that are not full tower design. This would be especially true if one had a cpu and a gpu liquid cooler stuffed into a mid tower case. Liquid cooling has made a believer out of me though. My last PC as well as my new one both have and it works very well and flawlessly on both. I cam curious as to whether or not it's possible to run two coolers off of a single radiator. That would alleviate some of the fitment concerns. Either way, if I decide to do this I will be sure to report on results. They are claiming gpu temp drops of up to 50 degrees are not unheard of.

Unfortunately it does not appear as though this bracket is widely available yet for my video card (Nvidia GTX 970)

I talked to a tech support guy from corsair today and he told me that all these brackets are new this year. They just started manufacturing them so they aren't all available just yet. They will be shipping the one I need within the next couple of months.
