hi everyone i love this game and i have downloaded some mods for it =) all works fine but there is a mod i want so bad is the babylon 5 hold the line mod is hosted on spacesimcentral but the mod isnt compressed in a .dat file so it doesnt work on the game i have use starmod.exe to make it into a .dat file but still the mod when i activate it into the game wont work any help or if any of you have the file would you share it i love b5 and i will like it to play on this game thanks and excuse my english and punctuation. |

Did you get my response to the email you sent me previously? Just wanted to make sure it got through to you. I am not sure why that mod won't work. Let me download it and see if I can tell what is going on with it. I will get back to you a bit later. Very glad to have you on board here!!

The B5 mod is a complete game conversion and must be started differently than normal Starshatter mods. The mod should come with a "readme" file that explains this procedure.

I did what the readme specifies, but unfortunately I am getting a ctd whenever I try to open a mission or access the Tactical reference.

Bradd, did the CTD occur when attempting to open all of the missions? I believe that the mod came out before the Tactical Reference Screen was added to the game.
I suggest you load a completely separate copy of Starshatter in its' own directory to put the B5-HTL mod into. That is what I did, if I remember correctly. I didn't want to interfere with my other mods.
Giogi, one must use the -filesys suffix in the launching shortcut. I suggest creating a unique shortcut to start the B5 mod. It is a complete game conversion.
I always wanted to do a B5 mod using this one as a base. |

I only attempted the first mission. I will try installing this into a fresh separate installation of Starshatter and see what happens there.

excuse good people =) but i found the original starshatter game and downloaded and the mod now is working what a great mod i was triying to make it work in gathering storm but dont work on that game even when the innitial command line btw i ask for permission to post where the original game is hosted is hard to find now just to share for anyone interested |

Absolutely, go ahead and post the location of the original game. I don't see any problem with this given the fact that it is now open source. We can even add it to our downloads section here. I was not aware that you could still get the original game.

I was not able to get the download to work. The blue letters were not clickable. Giogi, do you have the capability to upload to an ftp site?
