Graphic Card Test

Fleet Admiral Posts: 1918 Joined: 14.12.12	Salutations, I've been testing my Star Citizen Graphic capabilities. I took my M50 out for Free Flight in the Broken Moon sector. 1. Settings: 1980x1080 on Very High Quality Setting. Average FPS results were 58-60 FPS. Excellent FPS and looked very good. Not much FPS improvement with High or Medium Quality setting. 2. Settings: 2560x1080 on High Quality Setting. Average FPS results were 48-60 FPS. Very good FPS and looked great. Looks like I may be able to confidently use the 2560x1080 graphic setting on High Quality. Neat. Not much FPS change when going from High to Medium Quality at this resolution. High it is. Regardless, if I ever have to drop down to 1980x1080 on Very High it will not be a drastic loss in visual quality. Graphic Card: Single Nvidia GTX 770 2gb. A noisy brat under load. By game launch I will probably upgrade my graphic card to the new Nvidia GTX 970 or 980. They are more capable and use less power while additionally being quieter. Fleet Admiral Posts: 1734 Joined: 14.12.12	Can't complain about those frame rates at all. Hopefully when the full game is released the graphics loads will not increase much. In past experience I have seen games actually get better when the full release comes out due to optimization by the developers. Time will tell.
