I'm seriously considering getting another TrackIR for use in Star Citizen and Starshatter.
I had an older version years ago when I was flying IL2. TrackIR provides premium head tracking for gaming. Hyper accurate, fully adjustable, and only three square inches in size. Actually, I really haven't flown much for a long time. Flying in SC is different that the atmospheric flight found in a IL2 WWII craft. I will need all the help I can get.
I was once very good in a German 109 Fighter. Ah... the memories of past cyber glory.
In all honesty, I have not been doing too much flying of smaller fighter sized craft either. When I do get time to play starshatter these days, I usually opt for a capital ship. That has always been one of my favorite aspects of the game because so few space combat games have ever allowed one to command huge cap ships. Since cap ships do not require precise inputs and lightening quick reflexes, I have been using an Xbox gamepad for control. I found out real quick that that type of controller is nowhere near precise enough in arena commander. That is why I have a Logitech joystick currently on the way from newegg.com. Gotta get back into flying fighters again.
