The graphic quality of Star Citizen is outstanding.
My only real concern is the game play. Pretty realistic graphics are all fine and dandy but if the resultant experience in-game is lacking it will all be for naught. After a while we will take the graphics for granted and will concentrate on our experience as players. Time will reveal if my concern is unfounded. I hope so.

I have a bit behind in the SC loop these days. I have come across some comparisons between it and Elite Dangerous. Although I don't know enough to make a comparison myself, but I think there are people that are already drawing lines in the sand as to what they expect it to be. Hopefully everyone"s preconceived ideas can be put aside until the finished product.
It does look great, but I too would hope the end product be what everyone is waiting for.
Yes, it is very true that expectations for this game are running VERY high. I'm not sure I would want to be in the developer's shoes right now to be completely honest. I am hoping that the game is everything that everyone wants it to be, but as we all know that is a very tough standard to achieve.
