Lieutenant Posts: 31 Joined: 22.02.13	Salutations, sorry for being so curious, because I like posting on a Starshatter forum. Do you like Windows 8? And what do you think about Windows 8? Well, I like Windows 8, and I think Windows 8 has a good Metro. But I don't like that Microsoft got rid of the start button on the task-bar, getting rid of Windows Media Player, and so on. Captain Posts: 197 Joined: 16.12.12	Hi there, I have windows 8 on a PC that I bought last year. Upgraded to 8.1 now. Works really well, no crashes. Plays all of my current games. I don't use the metro tiles very much. Always go to desktop mode personaly. Very close to win 7, except it looks different. Loads very fast, great so far. Played around with a Surface tablet in the store. I can see why you would want the tiles for touch capability. Looks neat, but don't need another tablet. Toshiro

Fleet Admiral Posts: 1734 Joined: 14.12.12	From what I have observed, Windows 8 is a very good OS as well. Just as good as Windows 7. I currently do not have a machine with 8 on it. It's just a personal preference thing for me. I like the look and feel of windows 7 better, but I'm sure I could probably get used to 8 if I really tried. For now, I'm sticking with 7 as my favorite OS. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you, and be sure of this, I will be with you always even unto the end of the age.
