I am trying to look for the official download but I find some but it says not installed correctly. Could someone send me a link or tell me what the problem? |

Can you tell us specifically what is happening when you try to run the game? Does it just fail to open and nothing else? Do you get some kind of error message? If so, what is the message? Hopefully we can get this figured out for you without too much trouble. Welcome once again to starshattermods.net!

I suggest you create the following folders to install the complete 5.0.5 game in.
Firstly, create the following folder on your C: drive.

Secondly... open up that folder. It will be empty.
Create the following Starshatter The Gathering Storm folder within the Matrix Games folder.

I'm just taking a shot in the dark here. If by chance you are trying to open the game by clicking on the starshatter-Thegatheringstorm.exe file, I had problems with that as well. It gives some kind of message saying that starshatter is not properly installed. All I had to do was instead click on the starshatter.exe file and it worked fine. Let us know if this solves your problem.

Thirdly, open the Starshatter folder and place ALL of the files and folder include with the game within.
Afterwards it should look something like this.

Yes, as Bradd indicated, after install, create a shortcut to start the game from the desktop using the starshatter.exe application file.
The game should start properly then. Actually, I have no problem running the 5.0.3 version with the Starshater - The Gathering Storm.exe application file.
Oh, you might try running the game in "administrator" mode too. |

Or,
If the DLL file is missing on your computer, an error message will pop up and say:
The program can't start because (some_name.dll) is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I suggest you to download the DLL-files fixer to install the DLL file on your computer.
First, click here to install d3dx9_43.dll.
Second, click here to install MSVCR100.dll.
Avoid scanning. And run the Starshatter game again. Let me know if the problem is solved.
